Rarity and Value: These aren’t traditionally thought of as especially rare bank notes. However, try to find an example in VF condition or better at will. It is tough to do. Many early banks only issued denominations of $5 and lower. Ten dollars went a long way in the 1860s and early 1870s. If you were fortunate enough to have a $10 bill then you probably spent it. Current Market Analysis: It is difficult to describe the Wisconsin national bank note market in one word. A huge collection was sold in 2008 and prices were generally thought to be strong then, but the market is likely off of those highs.
